Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. is an American actor who has a reputation for playing tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was born into an actor's family, as her father Romulus Linney is a playwright. Linney received her degree at Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and then graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.)
