Andressa Urach

Just 15 years old, Andressa Urach began a love affair with Tiago Costa. In three months they moved in with him. The couple was blessed with an unmarried baby boy, Arthur Urach Costa born on May 19 2005 After divorce, the couple split in 2008, following six years together. Andressa was then relocated to the home of her mother and her child. Within six months, Urach lost her employment and had to leave her child in the custody of her father. Her main goal was to find a better life for her son within Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach describes in her book Morri Para Viver the experiences she had with inflicted sexual abuse when she was a kid. She suffered from age 2 to eight of abuse by the grandfather she adopted. Andressa was able to get away from any abuse since her foster grandmother noticed the perpetrators in the act. Andressa went back to remain at home with her mother, who didn't even know that Andressa experienced any form of violence until she released her book. Interviews with the woman showed that the task was impossible for her before her change of heart. The idea of forgiveness for her abuser was something she thought unattainable. My decision was the most difficult of my entire existence. I contacted the person I was victimized sexually by. It was not an effortless option. After several prayer and the vows to fast, I contacted him to say I'd forgiven him and I even asked forgiveness. Then I asked for forgiveness without justifying my actions.
